Sabah Rains

"When it rains there are no mercy!", a Sabahan said when the shack they built almost flew off entirely by the thunderstorm.

Telupid Sabah

Hi guys. At this moment I am at Telupid Sabah for a few days. Internet service is not reliable here so unable to reply some of the comment on this blog.

I am here as part of the tech support team for a church 50 years celebration event. It's held here in the middle of the interior of Sabah.

So far it's has been a fun trip. I heard they are serving python for dinner later. Yummy.

Utusan Malaysia is a big liar.

Saw this cover photo by Utusan Malaysia this morning. What caught my eye is not the photo but the number of attendees reported for the UMNO event at Bukit Jalil last night.

Why I say Utusan Malaysia is a big liar? Because the fellas over there claim that MORE than 120,000 attended the event. A quick check reveals Bukit Jalil has the seating capacity for 87,411 people only. And the stadium is only half full. Further proof is as below.

The seats at the front stage are not full.
All the seats at the back of the stage is empty

I give it a maximum 50,000 people plus those seated on the field attended the event. But where the heck of another 70,000 people came from? I think the 70,000 are the phantom voters in the electoral roll. Watch out Malaysia!

Seremban Flooded.

To say lately the weather in Malaysia has been freakish is an understatement. One moment you are dying under the hot sun, and then the next hour you have a freaking storm! Last Thursday on 2nd Feb 2012 it rained so hard in just one hours the whole Seremban town was flooded! Here are some photos taken by fellow Serembanians that was shared on Facebook.

Ariel view from KM Plaza overhead bridge.
I have never seen Seremban flooded like this.
Knee-high water in just an hour of rain.

I pity those car owners.

All the traffic waiting for the water to recede.

The KTM railway tracks were flooded as well.

Another view of the rail tracks.

The inside of the KTM station.

Manglish

Spotted is road sign offering International English Language course. Good grief! My country's English has dropped to an international low and even the tutor don't realize it!
